The above display shows a comparison of the simultaneous reception of an EME signal (WA6EIW) at two locations (AF9Y and W9HLY) spaced approximately 30 miles apart. The FFTDSP display images were combined using the COREL DRAW mirror flip feature so that the signal strength bars could be aligned and compared. Each gray vertical line represents 10 dB S/N. It is interesting that even with AF9Y?s 3 dB advantage in antenna gain, there were periods where W9HLY had as much as 8 dB stronger signal.
